Empowered by and reporting to the General Assembly of national member associations, the BoD is primarily responsible for translating the Association's overarching mission into concrete action. Its key mandates include:
• 战略执行：落实成员大会制定的各项政策、战略目标与决议。
◦ Strategic Execution: Implementing the policies, strategic goals, and directives established by the General Assembly.
• 运营管理：监督EAFCP的日常行政、财务健康与可持续发展。
◦ Operational Management: Overseeing the day-to-day administration, financial health, and sustainable development of the EAFCP.
• 委员会指导：领导和支持专注于标准制定、教育培训及行业智库功能的各专业委员会和工作组。
◦ Committee Oversight: Guiding and supporting the work of specialized committees and working groups focused on standards, education, and thought leadership.
• 对外代表：作为协会的关键代表，与欧盟机构、监管部门和合作伙伴组织等外部利益相关方进行沟通。
◦ External Representation: Acting as a key representative of the Association towards external stakeholders, including European institutions, regulatory bodies, and partner organizations.

Composition and Operation

The BoD is composed of six esteemed professionals elected from the membership, bringing together a wealth of experience from across the European financial and credit sector. The Board works in close collaboration with the current Rotating Chair, Mr. José Masó Portabella, to ensure cohesive and effective leadership. Its operations are characterized by a commitment to good governance, transparency, and collective decision-making, all aimed at safeguarding the Association's integrity and advancing its position as Europe's authoritative reference for financial training, certification, and professional excellence.
